Monday 31st March - Windmills

Very windy today folks with not very much swell at all. There are a few small waves coming through at Windmills as it has a great bank at present but it is a mission paddling into them. Wind only looks like getting stronger today so maybe give it a miss.
Swell looks like it might pulse a little tomorrow and there should be similar winds but not as strong hopefully. Water temp is still nice but the air temp today is cold so wetties are a go. Tides are less full than they have been but still fullish. Other spots worth a look include Lefties, Big Rock, Honeycombs, Margarets. Don’t hold your breath!

Sunday 30th March - Honeycombs

Well didn’t we get a surprise yesterday arvo with N swell pushing through making some joy waves at “Torpedos” and few other spots..always pays to do an after lunch surf check!!
Today is looking a tad small but there were some fun little A-Frames to be had at Honeycombs. Wave size was about 2-3ft. A touch windy with a E-SE blowing at around 15kts with stronger gusts. Water temp is still quite nice but there is a definite wind chill factor happening early these days so keep the rubber handy. Thankfully blood stupid daylight savings is over now so we can get into the water feeling more awake now!
Other good spots today will be any of the small wave haunts folks like Lefties, Big Rock, Margrets way will have a few too, not very many crew around and what there is, is mostly local crew and fairly cruisy so get out there and enjoy this beautiful place we live in!

The flat spell continues folks. Better off going out for lunch today! Tiny swell, strong E winds and looking like being that way most of the day. Not much swell in sight yet..maybe tomorrow?? Bit of a low coming down the coast from a cyclone up north…maybe some swell from that…who knows!

Very small again today with a SE wind and again a fairly full sort of tide. Wouldn’t be worrying about it unless you are desperate. Hang in there, there wil be swell eventually.
I would imagine there will be waves at the usual small wave haunts but even they won’t be terrific today, best do some more work!! Bugga!

Still really tiny folks. At least the wind has backed off a bit this morning so there will be a few little ones to be ridden around the place. Spot of choice for me would be Lefties or Big Rock. Sugarloaf ha a few nice ones but not much of a bank so shape is dodgey. Water temp is still nice but wind chill factor is up so wear the rubber. Not much crew around so make the most of it…school holidays in 2 weeks for 2 weeks…then thankfully it is all over for another year!

FLAAAT!!! That’s about it folks! hahahaaaa! Really tiny and wind is howling offshore killing any chance of a wave today. Wouldn’t even recommend it for a desperado! Better off getting some work done today…looking pretty tiny for the rest of the week too. Good for a late arvo swim!

Not really worth worrying about to day folks…really tiny and very windy from the E. Maybe wait till the wind dies out and have a shot but it will be battling to scrape your armpits! Best bet is to get into some work today and get ahead for the next swell. For the desperato try Windmills or Lefties. Water temp is still nice but there is a definite wind chill creeping in now folks so the rubber is the go. We are still experiencing fuller tides too.

The swell has dropped out considerably folks to about 3 ft at Yallingup this morning. Some fun little waves out there but the pick of spots will be Bears or Lefties today. Thankfully the metro crowd has thinned out too…big Sunday Session does that…good for those of us that live for surf instead of piss!! LOL!
Winds are from the E with a slightly high tide that should drop a bit through the day. Water temp is still nice and comfortable but the early morning wind chill is getting colder…signs of winter approaching people!
Swell looks to be on the decrease through the week so small wave havens are the go but remember your manners people and share it around a bit.

Swell jumped up alright…good solid 6ft sets at Yalls this morning and some truly epic waves at the Bubble but alas our metro brothers still have no clue about manners or over crowding so it was very crowded to the point of dangerous. Wake up clowns!!
We surfed at Inji Point..not as good, bit wind affected by the strong E but still some fun ones and a few solid ones, no real bombs though. Water temp is still nice for springy and tides was a fraction higher than you would like it but still ok.
Tomorrow I would be heading for Lefties and Gracetown early…should be on!
