Bit of a wild night weather wise hey! This has left us with an 8ft+ swell and onshore wSW winds this morning. Not lookin great on the westerly coast but there should be a few waves in the bays and points later on. Good day to get a bit of work done really.

Only for the keen today!

Peace and Power on!

Swell is still down this morning with small waves breaks being the go. Some nice little ones to be had at Windmills this morning. Winds are E first up but will swing into the N NE very soon and then NW for the next few days so if you are going to go for a surf, I reckon you should get on it.

Water temp is still quite nice but the air temp is cool now with a definite wind chill. Crew factor is fairly mellow now with most of the tourist folks gone due to school recommencing in a day or so.

You might like to try out lefties, Big Rock, Honeycombs, etc for some waves as well before the wind swings.

Well folks the swell has dropped out considerably today. Still a reasonable chance of a wave at Windmills early this morning. A few nice little ones out there and there are still a few even now. Wind is getting around though to the NE and will strengthen through the day. Crew factor is up a bit but on the whole most folks are mellow. In fact I would have to say this long weekend crew has been the best so far for manners and consideration of others in the water. This is a good thing, tourists and locals alike can get along if we share and just cruise.

I would be looking for a wave maybe at Honeycombs etc or maybe Lefties as well but get on it now lads as that wind is swinging fast and we are in for small onshore mud for a couple of days now.

I hope all the young groms have enjoyed their holidays and gotten plenty of waves as school starts Monday. Time to knuckle down…

How good was Yallingup yesterday?!! About as good as I have seen it in a long while. Only thing that ruined it a little was the amount of tourist chumps out there…seriously some dumb ass people around the place! The crew was pretty mellow though all things considered and some great 5-6ft pearlers were had..I personally can hardly write today after having another fun surf out there early today.

Today is smaller than yesterday but still really nice. Water temp is fantastic at present, really warm but there is a major wind chill factor early. The wind is up and onto it now making it pretty choppy, winds are from the NE at around 15 kts.

Being a long weekend there are still lots of tourists spectating but it is easy to  get your share, most of ‘em don’t know where to sit or pull back anyway.

Get out there lads and get amongst it. it is still fun and the wind shoul mello out later on in the day. Try Yalls, Bears, Gracetown, etc for alternative spots.

I am having a good rest!

Absolutely crankin today! Clean offshore conditions and waves at around 6 ft+ looking like it might back off a bit later on. Tide is relatively high this morning so might pay to hold off for a while and wait for low tide. E winds at present with SE predicted later on so lookin like the day to ditch work lads!

Water temp is nice still but a bit of a chill in the air temp so wettie up.

There will be waves all up and down the coast today so get amongst it. Lookin good for the weekend despite some rain coming too.

Peace and Power On!

Well our swell has arrived lads! Big yalls this morning, very raw swell still with a full tide so it is really not looking at it’s best right now. Swell size is easily 8ft+, bigger sets totally possible today at more open facing breaks. My tip is to wait for the tide to drop out a bit this arvo and head for Inji. It will be good. Winds are a light offshore this morning, good possibility of it swinging around later in the day.

The ocean is no place for the novices today so pick your spot carefully.

Ugly conditions this morning lads. Howling and all over the show. Swell is on the rise though but I would be waiting for the wind to get around to the south and then perhaps hits the bays and points. Tides are high as buggary at present too so the arvo is probably the go for a while till these tides piss off.

Another good day for getting some work done I reckon.

Nice clear morning produced a decent SSE offshore at Yalls this morning…pity the swelll was a dribbling south swell. Yalls was small at around 2-3ft with poorly shaped waves to be had. Still, better than nothing. Water temp is still nice and warm but the air temp is gettin chilly now. Tides are full and just plan fat and ugly at the moment so I wouldn’t be expecting anything amazing for a bit as far as a morning surf goes.

Bears would have been worth a look today but I reckon it would have been hating the tide too. Couple of days of SSW winds ahead with a swell rise on the way so we could see some good late arvo Inji in the next few days. Offshores again and decreasing swell towards the end of the week.

Well take it easy crew.

Peace and Power On!
