Real person surf check for today.
Yallingup is looking BIG and wild this morning with a swell around 8-10ft. Winds are SW this morning and not too strong although too full on for this side of the capes. Tide is high and receeding through the day. Not looking surfable here this morning but I have checked out Inji and the Farm. Inji looks ok, bit full first up and should get better later on, farm is smaller but looking like it will get better later on too as the swell peaks a bit. Inji point looks to be around 4-5ft and Farm around 3-4ft at present. Gracetowns South Point should have waves today as well.
Water temp is cold and air temp is cold right now too so rubber up folks!

Real person surf check for Wednesday from Yallingup.
The ugly crappy surf continues. Howling W winds again today and an angry looking ocean. Not ridable on the open coast today but there are a few small waves around on the Rocky Pt side today. Not very much size though but if you’re keen for a grovel, then that is your best bet. Water will be very cold though…plenty of rubber!
Swell size on the open coast is around the 8ft mark, hard to tell, really messy. Swell size should rise a bit over today and tomorrow and you will likely see the winds stay W and tend SW later on Thursday/Friday. Good day to get some more work done!

Real person surf check for today from Yallingup.
Ugly! W/NW winds and a swell to around 6-8ft this morning. The crappy run continues! Tide is full early and will receed through the day. Not really worth getting wet over this morning. I had a quick look up at the Points at Meelup etc and there are a few little ones rolling through there but nothing special…if you’re desperate, that is your only bet today.
Better to get some work done cause this won’t last forever…hopefully!

Real person surf report for Monday.
Puke! W/NW winds and a swell to around 3-5ft at most today. It’s windy, cold, raining and not at all inviting today. Not really worth the bother today, not really enough swell to get anything much up at The Farm/Boneyards etc but if you’re desperate, that will be the place to look. Water will be freezing though!
Tide is full early and will receed throughout the day. Good day to get some work done!

Yallingup is looking crap this morning. Really northerly and picking up. Swell is sort of around 3-4 ft or so and will rise but not at all worth surfing today. Keep an eye on it over the next few days as it will get better eventually. Tides are high in the morning at present and receeding through the day and water temp is cold right now with lots of rain and the currents shifting.
Good day to have a warm fire and a warm body next to you.

Yallingup is looking rather pleasant this morning although it isn’t big. Around the 3ft range with nice E/SE winds that will tend northerly and blow this arvo and into tomorrow. Surf looks really fun this morning and I am off to Rabbits for a few nice ones.
Air temp is very cold this morning and the water temp is cool but not too bad. Crew factor is down so no crowds to really worry about at this stage. Should be waves everywhere today so get on it people…times a wastin!

Morning all, here’s you human surf report from Yallingup.
Bit of an unsettled ocean this morning. Light and variable winds tending mostly E/NE this morning with a few wobbles still occurring on the water. Tide is fullish this morning but will receed through the day. Swell size is up around the 6ft range with the odd slightly larger one.
Yalls has a few ridable waves most certainly this morning but it will get better as the day goes on. The winds will clean things up a bit and with the dropping tide, we should see some fun waves around late morning. There will be a wind change later from the SW/NW but should be light and shouldn’t mess things up too badly. Most spots should have a few waves today right up and down the coast with more exposed spots being a touch bigger. Get on it folks and enjoy.

Western Australia’s southwest has some of the best surf on the planet at times and this was a well kept secret for a long time. These days it is less of a secret and surfers from all over the place are coming to visit our pristine area and surf our pristine waves and waters. We have some great spots to stay down here when you do come for a surfing holiday and what I have endeavoured to do for you here is list out some of the better ones that are close to the surf to save you travelling costs, that are nice to stay in and comfortable. The area literally has loads of accomodation and listings below are designed to give a broad cross section of places that I would recommend friends stay in. Hope this helps you out!

Rather than me write a page with all the same information on it that other websites have, I have instead located the best websites and placed links here for you under the localities.
Yallingup - Accomodation for surfers in the Yallingup area. Yallingup has many breaks close by some within walking distance, other a short drive.
Dunsborough - Dunsborough is a very central place to stay as it is a short drive to the waves of the Cape such as Bears, Windmills and Lighthouse as well as this it is a short drive to Yallingup and Margaret River surf breaks.
Margaret River - Margaret river is a beautiful spot and is close to the waves of Cowaramup and Gracetown as well. Breaks like the infamous North Point, The Box, Surfers Point are all close by.

Thursday real person surf report from Yalls.
Looking stormy and ugly still this morning. W/SW winds gusty and strong with a swell that looks messy and sizewise, well maybe around 6-8ft. Tide is fuller this morning but should receed as the day goes on. Not looking remotely surfable at Yalligup but there will be some waves possibly at Inji Point, South Point and Rocky Pt/Farm later on this afternoon when the tide drops out. Won’t be all time or huge but for those of us with addictions to saltwater…it should do the job!

Ugly as today folks! Howling NW winds and peeesing with rain, cold not very inviting at all. Even the desperado’s should write today off. Good day to get some work done or sort out a few chores around the house…certainly no day for surfing!
